Fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) piping, also known as fiberglass reinforced plastic (GRP) piping, is a type of composite pipe used in a variety of industrial applications. It is composed of a reinforced plastic such as polyester or vinyl ester resin, combined with a reinforcing material such as glass fiber roving or chopped strand mat, and then cured and formed into the desired shape. FRP piping is strong, lightweight, corrosion resistant, and has a long service life.
