Operation:
Unfiltered liquid enters the housing of basket and go through it. Solids are retained inside or outside of the basket, depending upon the design, and they are separated at the service time of the unit. They are existing with in situ backwashing ordering, wherein baskets removal for cleaning is not necessary frequently. The basket filters and strainers are generally supplied with spring organization at the top of filter element. This ensures that any type of bypassing and verify the position of basket, even in reverse flow case. Fluid bypass around the basket is not permitted by an optional O-Ring seal, between the housing inside diameter and basket rim.
